FIELD TECHNICIAN

The Field Technician is responsible for executing a variety of tasks related to the installation and maintenance of landscape curbing projects. This role involves manual labor, operation of various tools and equipment, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. The successful candidate will also be expected to maintain a high standard of workmanship, ensure safety protocols are followed, and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  1. Assist in the installation of landscape curbing, including preparation of the site, handling of materials, operation of machinery, and finishing work.

  2. Follow design plans to ensure accurate and high-quality curbing installation.

  3. Perform routine maintenance on landscape curbing machinery and tools, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.

  4. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment for all team members.

  5. Load and unload trucks with necessary materials, tools, and equipment.

  6. Assist with clean-up and restoration of job sites upon completion of projects.

  7. Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs on machinery and equipment as needed.

  8. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure a smooth workflow and high customer satisfaction.

  9. Participate in training sessions and team meetings as required.

 

Qualifications:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent.

  2. Previous experience in landscaping, construction, or a similar field is preferred.

  3. Familiarity with tools and equipment used in landscape curbing operations.

  4. Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and equipment.

  5. Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

  6. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

  7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  8. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

 

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods. Outdoor work in various weather conditions is required.

 

Work Environment:

Start time is at 6am. This position requires work at various job sites, in various conditions. The Field Technician will be exposed to various weather conditions, noise, and dust. Safety gear is provided and must be worn as required.

 

Compensation:

To the qualified candidate we offer:
